The Christmas Light Guy

Walkway & Yard Displays

Walkway & Yard Light Displays

Path lighting, stake lighting and ground level features that finish the display, light the way to your front door and give the yard something to look at from the street.

What You Get

The path is actually lit

It looks like part of the display and it does a real job on a dark December evening.

Depth from the street

Ground level lighting pulls the display forward instead of leaving everything flat against the house.

Laid out, not scattered

Spacing and alignment are set out before anything goes in the ground, which is the difference between a path and a line of random stakes.

Cleared properly

Everything is pulled at takedown, so nothing is left in the lawn to hit with a mower in spring.

How The Job Runs

  1. We plan the run

We walk the path and the yard with you and agree what gets lit and where the power comes from.

  2. We set it out

Stakes and features are placed to a set spacing and wired back to the timer.

  3. We remove it

All of it comes out after the holidays and goes into storage with the rest of your display.

Common Questions

Will the stakes go into a lawn without damaging it?

Yes. They are small ground stakes and they come out at takedown. Nothing is dug in.

Where does the power come from?

An existing outdoor outlet, on a timer, run so that cords are not crossing walkways where people step.

Can this be added later in the season?

Usually yes, though the calendar is tighter the closer it gets to the holidays. Ask when you book the main install.
