The Christmas Light Guy

Tree & Shrub Wrapping

Tree & Shrub Light Wrapping

Trunks, limbs and shrubs wrapped strand by strand, by hand, so the whole yard reads as one display instead of a lit house with a dark garden in front of it.

What You Get

Wrapped, not thrown

Each trunk and limb is wrapped at an even spacing. Netting thrown over a shrub looks like netting thrown over a shrub.

The yard stops going dark

Roofline lighting alone leaves everything below the gutter black. Wrapped trees fill the space between the house and the street.

Sized to what you have

A mature trunk, a young ornamental and a row of low shrubs all need different spacing and different lengths. They get it.

Comes off cleanly

It is unwrapped in January, not cut off, so nothing is left buried in the bark to find next year.

How The Job Runs

  1. We look at the planting

We count what is worth wrapping and how far up each trunk to go, then quote from that.

  2. We wrap by hand

Strand by strand, evenly spaced, powered back to the same timer as the rest of the display.

  3. We maintain and remove

Anything that fails during the season gets fixed. Everything comes off after the holidays and goes into storage.

Common Questions

Will wrapping hurt the tree?

No. The strands are wrapped, not tied tight, and they are removed at the end of the season rather than left on to grow into the bark.

How high up do you go?

As high as is safe to reach on that particular tree. We agree the height with you before the install so the quote matches what you are picturing.

Can you wrap just a few trees?

Yes. Plenty of people start with the two trees either side of the driveway and add more the following year.
